 An MOU’s was signed between Boston University (LeBoHA) and the Ministry of Health in 2007 showing the commitment by the Ministry of Health towards the sustainability of the Family Medicine Specialty Training Programme (FMSTP). The Lesotho Family Medicine Specialty Training Programme was then established in 2008. The programme has its base in Motebang Hospital in Leribe and has residents working in three other districts. The programme offers a Master’s Degree bestowed by Boston University.
