CHE hosted a three day onsite review as part of the Harmonisation, Quality Assurance and Accreditation (HAQAA3)

CHE as a Quality Assurance Agency in Lesotho is under review by a reputable continental body. This is the second time it is being reviewed, the first time was in 2017. This external evaluation process is very important because it helps CHE to maintain international standards in its own work of accrediting programmes offered by institutions in the Kingdom.

A panel of experts from Tanzania, Mauritius, Namibia and Ghana visited CHE and their programme included engagements with Council members, senior management, Ministry of Education and Training officials, Higher Education Institutions, professional bodies, students, and key stakeholders. This process is strengthening our commitment to quality assurance in higher education.
