COMPLIANCE OF NEW HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS
The Council on Higher Education (CHE) was established by the Higher Education Act of 2004. It is responsible for quality assurance of Higher Education Institutions. It audits quality assurance mechanisms of these institutions, and also accredits their programmes. No higher education institution can operate and offer programmes in Lesotho without having been granted permission to do so through audit and accreditation processes.
