Review draft micro-credentials framework

Following the successful Stakeholder Consultation Workshop on the development of a Micro Credentials Framework, held from 22–24 June 2026, the Micro Credentials Technical Committee convened at Lancers Inn from 29–30 June 2026 to review the draft framework. Under the leadership of the Consultant, Prof. Kirti Menon, the Committee examined and refined the draft, incorporating key issues that had emerged during the stakeholder consultations. The outcome of this process is a revised draft Micro Credentials Framework, aligned with the Commonwealth of Learning (CoL) Micro Credentials Framework. Its implementation is expected to facilitate the integration of micro credentials into Lesotho’s education system, thereby advancing meaningful skills development, recognition of prior learning, and lifelong learning.
